Re: Original hemi dart information
I know some may not agree but I think the Larry Griffith Dart looked better when it was black and with the Keystone's on it..............

Re: Original hemi dart information
Charlie,
Bill Flynn got one of the 'first' LO23 Hemi Darts. Bill was based out of New Haven, Connecticut - which is where 'County Dodge' was located. County Dodge co-sponsored Bill's car 'Yankee Peddler' for the 1968 campaign. Lettering with 'Bill Flynn' with box lettering. For 1969, Bill was then sponsored by 'Chorches Motors' out of Manchester, Connecticut. New lettering, with 'Bill Flynn' in script lettering. http://37.media.tumblr.com/4f4d7c9ca...629o1_1280.jpg Debs' Automotive {Owner; Moe Deluge} had '4' locations; * Springfield, Massachusetts {Machine Shop, Chassis Dyno Shop & Performance Center} * Milford, Connecticut * Orange, Connecticut * Hartford, Connecticut 'Deb's Automotive' sponsored many Connecticut and Western Massachusetts cars. |

I bow to thine wisdom and greatness. :D Thank you. Knowledge like that needs to be posted here. It's the history lesson this topic has become. |
Re: Original hemi dart information

Joseph Petrelle {Hampden Dodge} 'Debs Automotive' ~ Springfield, Massachusetts Joseph Petrelle ran at; * Orange Dragstrip {Fitchburg, Massachusetts} * Connecticut Dragstrip {East Haddam, Connecticut}. * Milton Dragstrip {Milton, Vermont} I have an article where Joe Petrelle ran an 11.22 @ 125.20 MPH to win in the Finals of Super/Stock Eliminator at Orange Dragstrip in 1968. http://classracer.com/classforum/att...8&d=1301402284 |
