The car in that old picture was run with a BB Chevy and a automatic trans as a bracket racer. Ran S/G, but being that you are from Ottawa you know who owned it at that time ...

Wade, Little story about Angelo. He and I were pitTed next to each other a few years back at Indy. He came over and did a once over look at my 68 Corvette BB stocker. Straight faced as hell he told me " These old cars are worth a lot of money to be making race cars out of them. I looked at him and just shook my head, That car of his is BEAUTIFUL.

If you like pictures of old modified corvettes, dig up a issue of the Nov. 26 1976 National dragster.It had a big story on ol Corvette racecars, and had many pictures of the famous ones from that era.
