Brackets are why I started class/rod racing. Payouts at div/nat are not the best but they sure beat the heack out of brackets.
They only people that come out are the Winner and R/u
regardless of the race.

I was always impressed with the bracket racing payouts in Eastern NC when I lived there a few years ago. I ran a few times at Brewer's (near Wilson) and Kinston, and I recall pretty low entry fees, and pretty decent payouts (although I never made it into the money in my daily driver). Back here in Oregon, I recently took runner-up at a local race which was a 7-rounder, and took home a whopping $71 for my efforts (before deducting the $32 entry fee)..
