I fully agree with Jeff, Doug is a great guy and a very good racer. He didn't just open his wallet and buy a competetive car. He built this car from scratch. Congrats on a very succesful debut.

I'd say for a brand new car that is DAMN good and shows he's a real racer for keeping it WOT all the way down the track as his 1/8 & 1/4 MPH are also in line.

1320/118.89 = 11.102
Actual ET was 10.922
Difference = .180

Does that mean my car is really good or really bad? :confused:

If you can beat the formula, it shows you have done very well with making your car as competitive as possible. And that's assuming WOT to the finish line. You know as well as I you can drop MPH while still sustaining the ET.

I don't totally understand the theory behind this formula.
I ran somebody with the same combination as I do this weekend on a time trial.
I ran 11.24 at 116,the other car ran 11.03 at 120.

I think I beat the formula,but he beat me to the finish line by over two tenths.

You both beat the formula ..but the other one has more speed..therefore more horspower = faster..
The way i see it the car most still be accelerating past the finishline in good manner for this formula to work..
