How do you put Lebanon and N.H. kind of back to back..
Lebanon on 4th July just sucks as usual..
I'll run one and not the other..

I do agree with Tom with the Epping and Columbus the same weekend is kind of insane because they are about the same amount of time driving for them both....Tom is prob closer to Columbus then us (7hours to Epping and 8 hours to Columbus) plus the way things look right now the weekend before Epping/Columbus will be open. It looks like we will do the local stuff and see where that takes us and focus more on masga stuff. When is the National Open schedule supposed to be released?

Yeah that is definitely a shame - it closes out the option of squeezing an out of division race for D1 & D3 racers......
Other than that though I actually like the D1 schedule. More races in the warmer weather equates to less potential weather problems and more opportunity for rescheduling if it should be necessary.

What I don't understand is why D1 does not have a Jegs Sportsnational race.

I have asked the same question or just make the Dutch a Sportsnational event. It usually draws a decent amount of cars and has everything except TAFC & TAD. Make it a sportsnational for the D-1 guys since we only have 2 Nationals until 2012 when Epping joins the mix of National Events.

Call the DUTCH anything but just keep it with sportsman cars only WITHOUT the Alcohol cars and the CIRCUS acts.

I don't know what track availability is for both tracks.

Look for a 7th D-1 Lucas Oil Race coming soon.

Jim can predict the future...lol. Hmmm I wonder what track it will be? I can only think it would be another Atco or maybe Numidia?

Does anyone know when the IHRA schedule will be announced? I know they have tickets on sale for the 1st 2 Nitro Jams of 2011 at Palm Beach and State Capitol but, no schedule yet.

James, it actually makes sense logistically. The D1 staff can leave the equipment at the next track without hauling all over the division.

I agree 100%, The Dutch is an excellent race the way it is. Sportsnationals would be great in the fall when it is cool but don't bring in the leakers.
