Hi Toby, what kind of camera are you using, Paul.

Sony HDR-CX110

Supposedly, Bursell got DQ'd for being light. I guess he teched the car in and didn't know what weight he was supposed to be at and the runs he made he was under weight. I've only seen him drive the car 5 or 6 times. I guess they are going to let him requalify today. I think he should be DQ'd from the event and get HP also. This is only rumor. Maybe GTX John can get on here and tell us the real story.

We're supposed to get 2 time runs today and Stock has first round tonight.

I noticed on your video Bursell has M/SA on the truck yet on the qualifying sheet the times are for N/SA. Whats up with that? If hes running in M and not N then that would explain the weight.

PS: Great job on the videos.

They didn't figure it out after the first pass?

So I guess I could tech into G/SA and put the F/SA weight on my tech card. Then if I don't like where I'm at I can go to tech and tell them I'm light and I get to requalify?

Don't sound right to me.

I agree with you. Something is not right, thats for sure. As long as I don't take a hit on the small valve combination in my truck when I know they run the big valve combination in their truck. If NHRA is gonna give them HP then I think they should at least check which combo those guys are running. The big valve combo does not fit in N/SA. The big valve combo lets you run K,L and M, the small valve lets you run M, N and O. Thats for a 1981 which is what is showing on the qualifying list on DRC.

Sure makes a difference not having a 20 MPH cross tailwind pushing you. I slowed down .08. When I got my time slip I thought there was something wrong until I remembered it was super windy yesterday.

I checked the schedule while I was up there and the only classes that have first round today are TD, TS and SG. We will get two time runs today.

I just saw a schedule from RFC that says Stock has first round tonight. It doesn't say that on the schedule that's on the tech trailer though. I guess we will know for sure later.

According to DRC that truck is still in N/SA and its now an 86. I thought we had to run all the proper body parts for the year claimed. I was told by an NHRA tech person that I CANNOT run my truck as an 86 without the proper grill. There are significant advantages to being an 86 truck.
