Chuck

They should close the lanes if people don't come up when they are called. A lot of people want to play the ladder game.

Hey Ken,
Will post some pictures from the first sessions yesterday later today. Didn't get to stay for the night runs. NHRA has to be concerned about the track and safety, but this was one of the worst scheduled event I have attended. They just don't realize that Sportsman racers pay the way for them. From now on, will probably see most of my racing at divisionals and sportsman spectacular. Don't need all the drama of the other guys.
Didn't get to see Bill Howell, but would like to get some decals. If you get some, I'll message you my address. Thanks.
Butch

Good morning everyone, just got back from first round. I don't like to report the bad things that happen at the track but my round was not the way anyone would like to win. I was racing Randy Wilkes. The run was going okay for both of us until the finish line. I could not get to the the finish line first so I let him go. I saw is nose drop, but I did nothing think anything was wrong. My win light came on, so it was obvious he broke out. I looked down at my gauges and when I looked up Randy was heading for the wall is his lane. There was lots of smoke, I don't know if it was brakes or engine. The car did a 360 and I think he tagged the wall. I wanted to get as much distance as possible from him, so I did not know for sure what happened. I kept looking back and the car was sideways, he tried to straighten it out but then it went completely around. He is okay, It could have been worse and I am happy no one was hurt.

Be back later with more info....

Ladder game ?Because you dont rush up .. Anyone notice all the break outs?..Some times it helps to see whats going on .You cant believe what the computers says ...Common sense still works ,I think

This is gunna hurt but I have to say ....... I agree with James on this. Weather monitors are not crystal balls! We still need to get to the lanes in a timely manner. Jim

Listens guys, I know this happens at that races, but that was not an issue at this race contrary to what was reported. There was no punishment for not showing up in a timely manner. The reason we were moved was simple, lots of oil downs and a few cars that hit the wall.

Please give it a rest, thank you.

Butch, sounds good pm me.

Pete did run class, but I think he was not going for a win. I don't know if he won, it should be up on DRC shortly.
