1320go.com shows Garbarine also going 9.55 and 9.58 later in the day (yesterday).
That's nearly 1.50 under the GT/HA index (-1.80 under the old indexes).... As Joe Franco stated.... that's super fast! All I can say is..... congrats!... and thanks!...lol |

Well today proves that lightning can strike twice in the same spot -- proof -- for the second time that I can remember the activities had to be stopped at Atco because of pollen blowing on the racetrack .Nope , I'm not smoking something funny -- we were down several times today so the officials could "clean " the track of the pollen that blew on from trees on one side .Probably lost a total of two hours ..........................Mother Nature wasn't kind to us ........
We're done for the day ........I'll be back after dinner with more photos .And I did manage to get my hands on some qualifing sheets . |

The cars the that came in late got to make the clean up runs and everyone is done for the day.
The morning air was good, but went down hill fast. It went up to about 2600ft, but at Atco thats usually not a bad thing. Temp was 86 and bar was falling at 29.71. Afternoon times were slow, I was very impressed with Steve Swaka's 9.84 at almost 135 in CC is this air. Not only are the new cars kicking my butt, I can't even hang with the old cars. Here is a in car cam from Frank Bialas's 70 GTX |
