Came across this pic of some of the past & present editors from National Dragster...[/Q Do you guys see the problem here, Phil Burgess editor for more than "30 " years. An editor on the average usually leave after 3 to 4 yrs and moves on, I'm sorry but the Dragster rag has to change, bring in a new editor, new blood is needed.CR |
Re: Missing Stock&Super Stock Magazine.
SS&DI will ALWAYS be the standard that all racer oriented mags will be held to by racers from that era.
John D. obviously was greatly influenced by Steve Collison, who in my opinion was THE best editor of any racing mag. He always spent a great amount of time with the racers , and listened to their comments and concerns about our sport with great interest. |
Re: Missing Stock&Super Stock Magazine.
Steve was the best! I met him around the time he started doing the Mean Mr. Mustang project. Always a great time when he was around.

Re: Missing Stock&Super Stock Magazine.
I thought I'd drag this thread up again because I remembered another editor. Wasn't there a guy named "Micheal T. Uno"? I'm not sure he was with SS&DI, or when, but I remember the name.
