I'm proud to announce that QuickFuel Technology out of Bowling Green, KY has signed on as the associate sponsor for the Friday Night Stock / Super Stock Combo event. The event will be known as the Quickfuel Technology Combo Clash. This event is open to all Stock & Super Stock racers on Friday Afternoon / Evening along with the Comp Cams Shootout for the .90 Cars. The event will kick off around 3pm with everyone getting 1 time shot and then into 1st round.

Looks like I got some pretty good feedback from some racers over the weekend at Atco regarding this event. I will once again be down at Atco this weekend for the East Coast Stock / SS Event as I will be running the Super Comp & Street Series. So stop on by and just say hi. Remember we have 1 month left to get in on that $165.00 pre-entry fee as the cutoff is June 1st. Here is also a pic of Ian Hill's Stocker that will be carrying the logo on the side of the car to draw some interest from the boys and girls up in the great white north. Thanks Ian for the pic!

Just throwing out a friendly reminder that we are slowly approaching the 1st cut-off date for the Nitroplate Stock/SS Shootout at Numidia. The first cutoff date is June 1st and the amount is $165.00. I know a few people don't like to pre-enter in-case something comes up or the weather is ugly and that is totally understandable. After the June 1st cut-off the amount goes to $180.00 and the next cut-off for that is August 1st and then at the gate is $200.00.

I will be at Maple Grove this Sunday for the Lucas Oil Event to do some promoting and collect any entries just in case after that I will be at E-Town on just Thursday to watch the sportsman guys and girls at the Summernationals.

For all those who haven't been to Numidia since the Combo in the Hills event last June, once again Bob and his crew have put more money into the track for you - the racers! New Concrete Burnout boxes were installed in early May and the staging lanes on the tower side were extended all the way out to the concession stand is. Still awaiting to see the final product but, I'm sure it will be awesome. Bob has also extended the fence out on the cold side of the track (Where Stock / SS parked at the inaugural Combo Race) and cross our fingers we will be parking overflow there this year! Hope to see a lot of racers attend this event...remember Stock & Super Stock cars are separate this year and we will have 2 winners not just 1! So 1 Stocker and 1 Super Stocker will be carrying that nice check home! Here are some pics...

Look for the "Fat Girl" to be flying the Nitroplate Stock / Super Stock logo at the E-Town National Event this weekend. Good friend Bobby Bender will be putting the logo on the car to do a little promoting and his wife Penny will be helping me out passing out some flyers. I will be up at E-Town on Thursday to take pics and watch some racing, unfortunately I have to work the other days!

Still holding strong at Rich Aman as the lone pre-entry! Rich is looking good at taking home at $3,000!

Since I'll be at E-Town on Thursday to watch and chat anyone who would like to pre-enter you can reach me on my cell phone and I'll be glad to come over and chat.

Might be a good chance now also that I might be attending with Leb Valley or Epping or Both points meets now as the car I help out on in Top Dragster just won Maple Grove and we are 2nd in points.

Remember boys & girls tomorrow is the last day for the 1st cut-off on the 1st pre-entry of $165.00! It maybe only a small amount but, hey $35.00 bucks is $35.00. If you want to pre-enter at Englishtown this weekend you can stop over and see Kelli Barbato. She is located over on the pro stock pit side right where the smaller grandstand starts. Silver S/G Camaro (Parked next to Barton's Camp and Gary Wolkwitz). If not you can mail it to me.

One of the bigger complaints I hear about when we go to Numidia is that there is no hotels close to the track for those of you who don't have the big fancy RV's in today's racing to stay at. Over the past few days I've struck a deal with Hampton Inn in Bloomsburg to offer a discounted rate to all the racers who are coming up for the Stock/SS Event who travel back and forth to the track. The hotel is about 12 miles from the track. You will have till August 25th to reserve a room at the special rate for this event. The phone number is 1-570-380-1020 and refer to the "90 Nationals" when you call to reserve - sorry couldn't throw all types of events at the girl on the phone. They will have 30 rooms set aside for us for the event.
Thanks to Stock Racer Jeanne Linke who gave me this idea to look into!

Also I spoke with Rob Jackson - aka Robzneed4speed Videos's will once again be joining us up at Numidia on the 13th & 14th. Rob will spend the morning of the 13th (During T&T) to go around the pits and talk with the racers about their cars. He will then bunker down and shoot the Quickfuel Combo Shootout on Friday Night and then as he did last year Rob will do all the videoing for the Nitroplate Stock/SS Shooutot along with winners interviews like he did last year.
