Wasn't there (in person) but my truck was.

The GT/TB record set by John McIntyre was mine. Or at least, my Super Stock truck.

John offered to take it as I couldn't go and I knew the place could be good.

As others said, you could make lots of runs (perfect for finding the tune-up).

John called me and said the air was great, the track was great and the tech guys were both great and busy.

Wish I could have been there......have the paper anyway.
