One may argue whether they are "special" or not....I do because the biggest and baddest production vehicle Detroit built during the muscle area.

But, more than that, when someone posts 15K over and above to win any particular class, that indeed makes it special.

Maybe Chevy needs to step up and sponsor the 427 COPO Shootout and Ford the Thunderbolt Shootout.
