I don't know. Hood scoops have been a part of drag racing since it's inception. Would hate to see them go, but I'm old, so there.

What Larry said is so true.!!!!!!!! Say it once again if not for grass roots drag racing there is no drag racing!!!!!!!!!!! Pro classes are great ,but the average person can relate to real door cars. Bring back Modified Eliminator!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks

The car designs are approved by NHRA, so don't blame the teams. They are wind tunnel designed for maximum efficiency at speed.

My other hobby is building models. Here's a comparison of a stock 2010 Camaro to the NHRA pro stock version.

love the hood scoopes I am one in favor of them and I just liked the mustang nose before the new one Larry came up with and love competition eliminator too. I just think PS is getting out of hand in a lot of departments........
