Re: "Live" from Z-Max 2014
Broke the Jerico again! Larry has it out and has taken it to Jerico who is a mile and a half from here! Not a happy camper!
Just called round 2 of class back up |

Here are some photos from the first round of class in the staging lanes. Still no rain, but very warm and humid. I know some of you like to know the weather numbers, here are the numbers for first round of class. It was about five slower then the early morning shot.
Temp 91 Humid 44% bar 29.39 DA 3700 water grains 105 wind light cross Pros are running the last qualifying for the day, and Super Stock, Super Classes should be out after they are done. |

That one you have should not have broken. I love the Jerico stuff, but I fear there is not the level of QC that once existed there. |
Re: "Live" from Z-Max 2014
Jerico is only 2 miles from the track, and Dad personally delivered it for "service" work.
I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when he was sharing his concerns for the transmission. If a v6 stocker can break items, I'd had to see something with real hp and torque. |
Re: "Live" from Z-Max 2014
Scott at Jerico did an exceptional job replacing the finger and checking out the transmission and replacing shift levers to the shorter ones so I won't have as much mechanical advantage over the shift fingers. I showed the broken part to Rick and suggested a radius be placed at the bottom of the cut to add strength to the finger. Jim Marshall and I had it installed back in the truck in less than 30 minutes. I race Don Fezell in the morning and that's what the crowd enjoys. A 5 second spot! Thanks Jim for helping!
