Check Facebook group "Arkansas Drag Racers and Dragstrips Past and Present"
Check Jackie Lewis's post. Cville Dragway Johnny goodnoh from mulberry ark. Marty drove. This was hemi powered. They later had a volare with a hemi and lenco Trans that held centervilledragway track record for several years. Craig Stevens owns the volare now . Cville Dragway This car had those long collector extensions that blew the tire smoke when he did a burnout. I loved to watch him do a burnout |
Re: Help find the history of this 64 Savoy Lightweight
Byron Simpson kindly responded to my query. Seems his dad had a Blue 64 Wedge and an Orange 64 Hemi.
Both cars would be counted out due to the fact that the car in question still retains it's factory Black paint. Hey, but at least a couple more cars are eliminated! I'm starting to think this car must have been a ghost.... |
