Ask your division tech director and they will
need help from manufacturer for engine specs.
Division 5 tech has been willing to help with this
if they are able to get what they need from manufacturer.
Probably does not happen real fast..?

86 Cutlass was my first two door car!! Am I younger generation? I hope so, doesn't make a difference here.. but make me feel a lot better!! LOL, oh, to make this even better, I hate the new factory cars!! hahaha!! Im just kidding you guys, younger generations now a days can mean a lot of things..when it comes to cars... its a universal language. those guys(kids) running the rice rockets are just as much car guys as anyone else. the point in this thread is that theres something there that you don't need a million dollars to tow, maintain and run...and if the word gets out through guys "old generation" like you guys, maybe they'll start running it. Stock, Super Stock is a thinking mans game, it never changes...were goin out for #1 qualifier and as far under as we can go. Its competition and ingenuity at its finest, and if its cheap, like stock was intended to be...great...we just made it easier for some of our friends to get involved. That's my 10 cents worth!!

And what would be the median age of the average S/SS racer?

what are the differences between this engine combo and the V-6 truck? head, intake #s, cc's etc

Since you asked, the closest year to compare would be a 1991 truck. It gets .430/.430 roller cam(vs.357/.390), less compression, different head casting and intake casting but they are both TBI, not CFI or PFI. The truck is rated at 180!

Leave it to billy to find this. Trusted and acurate for sure.
Kinda interesting that was advertised 160 changed
to 180 1/1/13. I assume based on track data from someone
running that combo? also interesting fleetside 454 advertised
255 nhra 310 pw factor 11.94 with no update date?? does
anyone no of anybody ever running this combo??

Gonna put in my 02 cents I would love to race Stock but seems like dime rockets aren't any less expensive then anything else

Less than copo's dragpacks or the new mustang's for sure !!
Finding a good combo and a decent "dime" car to start with adds
to the challenge for sure especially those in michigan?
A barely run blown mustang sold a auction in denver last week for
80k.
