I have never saw a wagon I didn't like!!! I remember a baby blue fairlane wagon with a 427 stick at Bristol 20 or so years ago, it made my mouth water. Mom had one just like it that I got to drive when I was 16 years old. Oh I forgot to mention Mom's was a 289 2bbl. C4 with a Ford add on air conditioner lol. I remember talking to the owner of the car and he said it ate axles like popcorn lol.

When it comes to Ford Wagons, one of my fave's was the '56 with the supercharger that ran in I/SA. It held the record for awhile. The only set back was it blew head gaskets regularly. With modern head gaskets it would have been a killer.
Another favorite of mine was the 60's Falcon wagon ran by Dudley Arceaux? out of south Louisiana. One of the nicest cars you would find, however it was before Ford started playing the HP game and it was't as competitive as it was nice. That was a shame because Dudley had put a lot of work into it.

I seem to remember a Fairlane wagon back in the 60s or early 70s that was killer fast. The guys name was Richard Charnabou. Don't quote on the spelling of the last name. If I recall correctly it was a stick 427. Maybe someone remembers the car.

Not the 315hp, use the 320hp version. It is bogus in a wagon since it was only used on Fairlane GT and GTA hardtops and convertibles but is allowed so take advantage of that.
All other models has the 315hp "TBird" motor as top option. I used to have a Z code 390, 4 speed Ranchero but it was not listed in the NHRA guide.

The 315hp doesn't get to use things like the PI aluminum intake which makes a huge difference on the 320hp engine.
