Went a best of 1.28 60 foot launched off the footbrake at 3880 lbs. 9 years ago.

No confusion about it, Abbezia's former chevelle didn't 60 foot 1.28 and it didn't weigh 3880 lbs. but my Chevelle did!:p

1.288 @ 3880 to be exact, Ed, just how much do think a 71 LS6 has to weigh in B/SA? And BTW many many years ago it also went 10.00 in B/SA. As far as my Chevelle and Johns go your not going to want to talk about that. Both cars that would leave on your Chevelle like you were going backwards, both stock suspension, both GM production oval ports.

Again, Abazzia's former chevelle never went 1.28 in 60 foot nor did it weigh 3880 lbs.

Ed, do you see the designation B/SA on the rear side window of Joeys 71 Chevelle?

Ed, would you agree Joey ran his Chevelle as a 1971 LS6 454 combination?

that car hasn't been "Joeys" in nearly 10 years and no one cares what that ILLEGAL car ran when he owned, least of which is the op that asked about the best suspension for his '68 Chevelle. What it didn't do is 60 foot 1.28 nor did it weigh 3880 lbs. FACT!!

Meanwhile, you've never met abbazia, never seen the car in person, don't have a clue to where it is now. All of which I have and do!

"Meanwhile, you've never met abbazia"

Are you sure?

435 NHRA HP X 8.50 = 3697.5 + 170 = 3867.5 B/SA now you all know where Ed arrived @ 3880 and 1.28 60 foots, mesmerized by Joe Abbazia's 1971 B/SA LS6 Chevelle.

Last time I checked Alf's suspension is not for street use.
His track record for building cars that work speaks for itself.
