You don't want to burn bridges because a stroke of the pen in Glendora could have Dodges showing tail lights to Chevys.

It would take more than "a stroke of a pen by NHRA" to make a set of MOPAR cylinder head castings that could be made to flow enough air to make enough hp to be competitive. MOPAR needs a "kick in the crotch" for not being able to make a decent set cylinder head castings available to their racers. And, E.E., as you call her, is a very nice young lady. In her position, you would be glad to be back to where you had a chance to win a race too.

Just my $.02.
Pete

She was showing her real self. Not a fan either.
I was around her when she ran SC and SG.
That was her real self then, and no I did not lose to her either so it is not being bitter.
My 2 Cents

I read the hot rod article, and the comments from A.J. and Chris Mcgaha saying the Hemi needed the RPM to make HP. So maybe a pen stroke that throws out the rev limiter makes them competitive? As far as EE I would love to meet her. She's apparently a good friend of A.J.,s and that's good enough for me. I just remember her comments last season when she said several times "we are thrilled to be part of the Mopar team and we are committed to keep working to make this car competitive "

RPMs won't do it if you can't get enough air flow. Cylinder head friends of mine, from two different shops (not connected to Elite) told me the same thing about those heads.
If AJ can't make one run, I don't really see anybody else doing it.

When you go from being champion to struggling to qualify or get out of the 1st round, it tends to annoy you. When you have to go beg for parts, that makes it worse. So I'm not real sure it's fair to blame Erica for her attitude, although voicing it in an interview like that is a bit unprofessional.

Mopar and Ford have pretty much made it very plain that they're not real interested in trying to compete in Pro Stock. They're unwilling to spend the money and effort. It's been that way for years. People blame GM and NHRA, but the fault lies with Ford and Mopar.

The RPM rule is pretty recent, so I'm not real sure that's what hurt Mopar, as much as I respect and admire Allen Johnson.

I did not hear her mention MOPAR, I heard her say she was very happy to be in a Chevrolet again. That is being happy with her ride. Correct? I did not hear her mention Fiat motors.

When I have been around her, she has been very pleasant to everybody. You can not say the lady can't drive.

Now i am afraid to say they actually don't know what racing is. We can only hope that the overpaid execs that are there now move on before the whole deal goes sideways. Maybe some people with passion and understanding about racing will have a chance to save it. At least the grass roots associations are there so we have a place to race if the current regime crashes the association into the ground. I wish it was better, but i fear that it is not going to get better before it gets worse for us as nhra members.

My apologies to Mr. Teuton. I'm sure he is a conventional millionaire. I was mostly referring to the racers with thinner wallets. I'm sure I have a net worth of thousands, but my bank account tends to be in the hundreds, so I'm maybe a "hundredaire".

Sorry James, just saw a cheap way for a little fun and games. Need that on here sometimes. I hope no offense was taken.

No offense taken. I wasn't originally referring to you as a "thousandaire". I do like to post a bit of a joke on here myself. I pulled your leg a bit years ago at Ennis when I said my Challenger didn't come with the DP scoop. You started to proceed to tell me about the DP Challengers, but I started laughing before you got very far.
