NHRA was getting ready to go live on FS-1 for TF & Funny Car, BUT

a small tire car stood it up and slammed it down, BUT

once wasn't enough, he did it again and exploded his oil pan, SO

he went all the way down the track and shut off right in the middle..

The NHRA crew has been working for 30 minutes to clean up his mess...

Pull over and stop...No way..

I wonder how much that oil down will cost??????

Just another dog and pony show..

Did he get on TV though? That's what's important.

What is the difference between big tire and small tire?? I know...one is bigger. Lol
In reality is small tire limited in width and height? Example 10.5 by 29?

Couple things here.
These are not X275 cars !
These are Grudge cars that some are not even NHRA safety legal. No rules other than Tire size. As I suspected after last night's S--t show NHRA learned what these cars are about .

Even the format they are being presented in is a nod to the TV circus mentality with "pre race "callouts to assert dominance" , note the name of the last of the so called racers .

The field will be comprised of eight of the finest big tire cars and eight small tire cars. The racers will get one time trial on Friday and eliminations will begin on Saturday. Before the first round of competition the racers will do a special call-out to assert their dominance before the start of racing.

The racers in the small tire field will include, George Raygoza, Jermaine Boddie Jr., Billy Hespeler, Scott Ray, Chris Alston

Bob,
You have spent much time and energy on your keyboard describing how NHRA has brought in cars and racers that you believe are not deserving of the national event stage. You have made your distaste and anger with NHRA quite evident. Have you ever approached your class rep or DD or someone upstairs in the Glendora management with your pet peeves?? Kindly share their response to your demand of class respect.

Sad that happened and caused a clean up.....we all know class racers never oil down the track or smash cars from wheel stands and slow the action down. Let's see, Roy Hill Indy 2015 jog anyone's memory? Should have lifted sooner huh?

Charlie
Wtf are you talking about ??
This is the one and only post I've put about these classes being ran at a National event .
I think you have me confused with a different Bob.
I actually help a few guys who run these type of cars and I seriously think they have a right to be anywhere but at a National event yet with the run schedule in this format.

My apologies Bob Aceves, no harm intended.............yes, I quoted you instead of Bob Mulry. Hopefully Bob M will see this and respond to my post.
