A/S and A/SA automatic, while genuinely appealing, certainly don't have the significance that the classes once did. Not with "Stockers" that begin to approach the seven second zone.

I saw no inference or suggestion of a personal attack. Put another A on the window and jump in.

superdart said..... Nope,Mark wants Todd Hoven with some of that Barton power. That sounds personal to me.

There is nothing wrong with AA. Running A/SA sounds more fun to me. More cars, more prizes, better index. I guess we'll see what everyone decides. Looks like it will be a lot of fun to watch. I hope somebody gets it all on video.

Just remember nobody, and I repeat nobody, needs to bypass protocol and go straight to triple dog dare you. Double dog dare is always before triple dog dare.

Apples and oranges here. Last time I followed up on these cars unless things have changed is Mark Madison AA/SA is a crossram car and the Carp/Barton car is single 4bbl car. If you want to throw in another car you have the Travis Hess/ Line car that is also a 4bbl car. How much of a difference does it make ? I don't build 'em . Don't know ! The fun and the money is in A/SA at Indy with the shootout. Everyone has their own agendas. Whatever class you run---Best of luck and safe racing !

Hoven can't fit in A with out taking the cross ram off he had on at Cecil..Barton knows the single 4 cause he ran it when bombed the index at Indy when the combo first came out that's why our car is 3730 in A..it will be interesting in A or AA but no AA car is going to out run Marks

Wrong. The P/W ratio is 7.57 making the car naturally fall into AA and you are allowed to drop down a class. When the combination hits 455 HP then it will be AA only.

When exactly did I "bomb" the combination at Indy? Show me the results. That has to be 10 years ago. I remember the combination getting slammed before it ever hit the track because others were complaining about it.

Which combination are you running? Iron or aluminum heads? Single 4 or crossram? Sounds like you're claiming the aluminum headed engine which carries extra weight. Put some iron heads on there and lose the weight. I guess it's easier to place the blame on me.

David,
Everyone takes a shot at you because you are the baddest dude at the track and with that carries a target on your back. Relax and enjoy your success, you earned it the old fashioned way, hard work.
Indy is going to be very special this year.
