Sorry, but Orlando is NOT a good racing trade show location.

If you're looking for a warm place to vacation, sure, go to Orlando.

If you're looking to do real business, Indy is much better.

The weather in Indy was fine. Cold? Yes. But very little precipitation.

The Indy location is not great for the guys selling trailers and tow vehicles, because they're outside. Otherwise, the business, which is what the exhibitors are spending money to be there for, is inside.

Indy is a manageable drive for many people, I drove there from Minneapolis

I have seen zero performance delta from this water pump versus the one run on the 530 HP configuration but I switched because it is the one used in the 540 HP.

The 2016 Cobra Jet's came with the remote mounted water pump. It's actually a Ford production piece from a CMax. Because this was a “gray” area in the rulebook we sent NHRA pics, specs, and part numbers throughout the development process to ensure it was “Stock” legal.
To your point there wasn’t a performance benefit beyond being able to cool your engine without it running not different than a secondary motor on a belt driven pump.
I have no skin in the game regarding the Dodge, only replying to give history on the CJ pump. But I do think that concerns about content after-the-fact could be minimized if the submission process were updated to include steps for strategic intent, peer review, and final approval. I had proposed this several times to NHRA over the last few years.

I think Vegas should be the next stop for the PRI. Cheap flights and hotels. The SEMA show never lacks for people.

It's a racing industry trade show, it ain't a vacation. Indy is THE place for the show.

I have to agree about Indy. My son's company is Turbosmart. He does PRI and SEMA and a few company shows each year. Even though he doesn't like the cold he says Indy is a much better location. It's much easier to Get a customer's car to display and everybody in the industry comes which wasn't the case in Orlando. He spends a lot of money on these shows and ROI is very important. It's just good business.
