Still no rain, Top Dragster Q3 running now followed by E3 Stock. After Stock we are done with eliminations. Factory Stock Showdown will be out for their first qualifier after Comp Q3 and Top SportsmanQ3, lets hope the rain holds off.

3961 Mike Fuller 3002 A.H. Adkins
E2 0.010 10.030 135.28 ****WINNER**** 0.033 9.017 147.84
FSS/H Dial: 10.04 (+/-): -0.010 SS/B Dial: 8.94 (+/-): 0.077
Prior rounds:
E1 (B Dawson ) 0.022 10.100 0.040 0.055 9.003 0.023
Qualified: #45 10.042 -0.308 #1 8.934 -0.966

Fuller was quicker out of the gate but Adkins ran him down in his yellow AMX to take the win.

Everything appears correct to me. The guy who broke out did not win the round.

I'd love to watch the R1 matchup between Ben Wenzel and Charley Bob, having seen the numbers.

Rain delay, very light. We should be back running shortly. Stock round 3 is done. Top Sportsman in the lanes now.

That I got, wasn't sure how he ran him down, my estimate he was behind by a tenth.

That part is true, but who knows what the person typing the commentary understands about how it all works?

Those reporters have watched thousands upon thousands of runs over the years. Trust me, they understand how it works.

Having actually been in that seat I can tell you it is a hard job. Even though the late (and sorely missed) Larry Sullivan made the software as easy as he could, there's still a lot to process and enter every minute or so. Some of the staff is now at cyborg levels but often things arise where you're distracted.

Just please, please don't ever question the knowledge or dedication of the FastNews reporters. In the early days when I started (in the late 1980s) it might have been amateur hour depending on the website or reporter but those days have been gone a long time.

No offense intended. I bet we all know someone who has raced for many years that still doesn't understand all of the information on the timeslip!

DRC has been a great thing for sportsman drag racing and I, for one, appreciate your efforts!
