Re: Jason Line
I won C/SA in Indy in 1990 with the Cuda and I think I went 11.teens to win class. Impressive race by Bobby and Jason.

Re: Jason Line
The super quick down low numbers were nothing more than an issue with the right lane timing. Jason had a very late light and a super quick 60' and 330' clock. Jason wasn't able to come within .09 of that 60' or .06 of that 330' his next 4 passes. Same can be said for Jason McCormack 4 pairs in front of Jason Line. Late light, super quick 60' and 330' that he wasn't able to come within .1 of for the rest of his passes. This has happened several times in the Super classes as well.
All that aside, Jason car is still super impressive. |

That ET is not even close to the current C/S index. http://www.classracerinfo.com/NHRA_Classes.aspx Stockers are running quicker than Super Stockers were back then. A '74 T/A set the SS/KA record at only 11.31, back in the late '70's. That's not even quick enuff to run the SS/KA index today. http://www.originalho.com/1974TA455SD/1974TA455SD2.html |
Re: Jason Line
Just looked at pro stock qualifying, looks like Jason has put the Buick motor in his PS car, he is currently # 1. His C/SA runs were absolutely scary, anybody have a guess as to how much HP it takes to run these numbers in this body at 9.00 lbs. per factored hp?
