Re: Rip Lee valentine
I have to share this story I just heard...
Lee and Al Peters were friends and fierce competitors. Lee is following Al Peters back up the return road at Dover. Al just beat him, and he notices Al`s fan belt fall off. He goes to an official and tells him Peters is running without a fan belt. Tech opens the hood and DQ`s him. :) |

Re: Rip Lee valentine
My sympathies to the Valentine family. Lee was a great guy. I enjoyed talking with him about racing, and life in general. He is missed.
