Heres a Fairlane and a Mustang I shot at the very first drag race I ever went to. This was Puyallup Raceway in April of '1968. I was a 9th grader and my buddy's mom dropped us off at the gate!
Anyway, heres Ed Terry's Cobra Jet Mustang and "Wild Bill" Ireland's Fairlane. These were small prints, so I hope they'll post alright. Yeah,, I was afraid of that,,, sorry.

Jeff,

I sold it back in about 1985 to a local Detroit area guy and it sat in his garage for several years without ever getting raced. The car is now somewhere in the Carolinas and I was told it is being bracket raced and still has the same paint and looks the same as it did when I raced it. My old 1985 Mustang it somewhere here in Michigan and I think it is being bracket raced with a 385 series 460 or 514 with an automatic now. I changed it to an 87 and then added the Saleen trim before I sold it back in 1989.

He runs it in NMRA open comp and does well with it. It still has SS/G on the window when i saw it a few years ago at BG kentucky

You right Rich it was a 428 SCJ car originally and I built a Cleveland after I got the Autolite 4300 A carb to work. Me and George Wright were partners along with another guy Joe Pavlovich, remember him? I miss the old stang! I have the VIN plate stashed somewhere.

quick memory of the captian, at his shop 9:30 pm he's getting ready to go
racing tunning on WHAT his F-350 he just installed one of his new 514
stroker kits in the truck and had a race lined up from livonia to milan. I cant
remember who it was, but truck,trailer,race car, I have a pic some where.
he did win of course. what a cool guy was always good to me
