Ken,

Sorry your weekend ended so soon. I really enjoyed the reporting, especially the in-car videos! I think you've started a new trend!

Please be safe on the way home! See you at the next "Big Go!"

Gentleman Bobby Warren won first round with a 10.04 @ 131.xx! Congrats!! It just keeps getting faster. No surprise there. Just love watching him. Gives me hope.

I am not going to say I didn't get upset about what happened, but I can't let it ruin my week. I know its allot of money but there are so many other things in life that are so much worse.

Wade, when I got the car back in 2007 it was in there and I didn't think it was a problem. I wanted spares so I recently starting using the Ford stuff.

I have been through tech with the aluminum center section at Indy many times along with numerous other national events over the last 4 years, I had no problems.

Vic, call Biondo Racing, that's were I got the gloves. Very comfortable and they have a good feel to them.

Michael, its nice to know I got a break on shipping. The removable wheel makes it easy to get in and out when the car is in the trailer, that's the only time I remove it.

Thanks everyone for the support, what's done is done, lets move on to racing.

Below are some pictures of Gary Richard's new CJ's. The paint work is beautiful, as you can see, under the hood, door jams and even the seat has custom paint. Very nice.

There is very little if any performance advantage to the alum.ctr.sec. so why does it even matter!? Just random BS from the tech guys!

I will try again later, if a get a better connection. Sorry everyone.

Stock this morning was about 9 quicker then yesterday. Unfortunately I only picked up 5. I dialed wrong and lost first round, not sure I would have won anyway. Greg Rowe was going dead on and his a very good driver.

Super Stock did not pick up as much, 3 to 4 seemed the norm.

I have a helmet cam from Dan Fletcher's run against James Perrone in stock. It was the best race of the day, margin was 1 thou. When I get a better connection I will try to get it uploaded.

I am most likely leaving in the morning so my 'Live From" will end today. I have been on the road for two weeks and looking forward to the ride home. I appreciate all the support I get on Class Racer and for all the members that contribute to this site and the sport, thank you.

Don't worry Art, I understand.

Ken.....It is US who thank you ! Have a safe trip home.

S/SS Combo at Piedmont on Sunday if you're passing through on the way home...

LOVE the in-car stuff. Can't wait to see the Fletcher/Perrone race. Master class, threading the needle there! Thanks for all you do, Ken.

I wonder about the .09 quicker, though.... I didn't see that out of many cars. Remember too that the faster the car, the less it's going to move with the air change. Saw a pretty significant number of runs where people were waaaay slow. Starting line issues, or engine issues downtrack?

Ken,

Thank you for the great "Live From" reports from Gainesville. Your straight-to-the-point commentary, innovative in-car videos, and superb photo skills have taken "Live From" reporting to a new level of excellence.

Don't go home - go to another race, any race, and report "Live From."

Thanks for videos and updates and pictures in the pits. Hope to see you at the 4 wide. I have picture to give you from last year. I'll find you on Thursday, the only day I get to come this year, but then again its the only day more than worth the price of admission.

See ya.

Thanks Ken for doing what you do. Like Toby,,you guys are taking the "Live From" reports to another level. We out here appreciate it.
The "in-car" shots from the 4-wide should be pretty cool,,especially from lane 2 or 3 with cars on both sides,,,crazy stuff. Take care.

Hopefully Ken can capture a 4 wide side by side by side by side heads up AA/SA run.

Just a quick report before I head up the road. The weather this morning is the same as yesterday, cool upper 40's, bright sunhine. They have called stock to the lanes. Yesterday the track was in great shape, even with the cool morning air. I see no reason why it would not be the same this morning.

fyi our weather station says 34 and the sea level at 1100 below, should get interesting to say the least
Stay tuned

Ken,

Thanks for all the photo's and especially the videos. I think I learned more about staging in those videos than years of racing.
Just a quick question, I thought that tree "shields" were ban, but I see
that Dan uses one. I also noted that he block the reflection from the mirror racing and pulled the tape at the finish line to monitor his competitor beforre turning onto the return road.
Ken sorry for you loss in first round, but thanks again for all your efforts.

Well its 1015 am sat morning and SS & Stock is done for today, makes a long day of it, if we had a car we would go to Garlit's place to look around.
anyhow rounds are posted and we won our round and will see sunday. Interesting round as i seen Bo didn't fix his transmission and gave Peter a bye, In Stock they ran 2 rounds this morning one run i watched and said wow was AB's -1.08 run against Edmond in a heads up battle as Edmond told me he stopped at 1000 ft.
We will see the track tomorrow morning. SC and Comp has another run today thats it.
The 140mph 305 rocket ship is ready for another round
