Please load the beer in the hauler prior to departure. As low as the oil prices have gotten, we need to burn some of that precious rare Louisiana crude! |
Re: Indy

Mr. Jeff, I have bank approval but do not have a stocker. Already in SC and SS. Can I do a "threesome"? |
Re: Indy
Jeff, please call Lee at 8307791043/ Thanks.

Re: Indy
Spyfish, you should keep an old stocker laying around just cause. I'm sure your banker can help you. Maybe a new Challenger? How about a new shoot out car? I got several for sale.

Re: Indy
I am counting cars cause I got nothing else to do. 7 A/SA, 16 B/SA, 2 C/SA, 5 D/SA, 7 E/SA, 9 F/SA, 10 G/SA, 9 H/SA, about 60 new cars, but can't tell anything except there are 60 since I don't think NHRA has FS/X and FS/XX on the available classes. Looks like 5 A/S for the unofficial shootout. 30 total Stick Shift cars in the regular classes, can't tell in the FS stuff. Super Stock still has 23 new car/new motor cars for the 23 new classes. That's not going very good. About 20 AH cars, I'm sure there will be more. 5 D/S cars including Sheila 'Chick with a Stick' Holt (and I'm not going to tell everybody they got two Margarita machines going for the week). Funny thing, there are two camps with two machines each, both from Div 4. Must be something in the air down South. For a small fee I will locate both of them. One got a White Russian machine also. Double fee for that one. One more B car and it's a 5 round race.

Re: Indy
Any reason so few C/SA cars? Normally a big class.

That is pretty good for a guy from New York. Was that the same buffet that the 396 was attending? Must have been the dessert.

Re: Indy
Now Bubba, I will inform you of the 'Not Attending Indy' rule from some years back. I don't think it has been changed, but other rule changes in Stock and Super Stock have changed the meaning and effect of the 'Not Attending Indy' rule. Basically it says you must not be able to qualify with at least two combinations that have been factored out, ruled out, or somehow out; but you have to try at least three years after said factoring or ruling before you can not attend Indy. And there are multiple examples available, none of which are important now, but if you don't qualify for the exemption, you are supposed to be on the list that has shrunk from 193 to 192. You can thank me later.

Re: Indy
Final days to enter. Stock about 196 I think and SS 166 or so. B/SA the big class. Sherman still the king as far as I know @ 9.91 in BG this weekend in testing. Some AH cars warming up down here. Now have 3 C/SA cars entered. I guess the 2010 Cobra Jet will be 15 hp higher for Indy. And the day is not over in BG. Got some hitters here. Over 200 Stk and SS cars. Some blown Shoot Out cars pulled way back in BG. Running 8.80s and have been 8.30 and 8.40. Indy should be great. I would think there are cars parked already.
|
Re: Indy
Jeff, parking does not start till Monday, all NHRA crew in BG. We will be staged Sunday either in the grass or staging lanes. We are 31st in line .... good luck in BG .... Randall you got an HP hit before Indy ... SUP?

Re: Indy
The final revised version. Tricky tipster to follow
Spyphish is coming from way down South, looking to do more that run his mouth. Say's it's now time to shake and bake, new Reher & Morrison power to "Calm the Quake". With a new record the Earth Quake is comin, Wolkitz Bro's have her hummin. They got a new pole to go phishin with, think they got the hook for ole Spyphish. Rector scale rumbled from a quake in excess, But a lot of work going on from a Cajun in Texas. Gone this year is some of the bling, But the Bullet's driver can sure make her sing. Reloaded with a new Silver Bullet in the chamber, makes the Lone Ranger shake with anger. Keepin the chassis they all knew, Another by Roth @ MR2. Rumors & tales, swirl about Silver Bullet & Bales, After the first blast he won't be last. Read between the lines and you will see, more than fried chicken this year at Indy With his dad by his side, Welker's back, Just hopes the Silver Bullet keeps Frito, He's a Quack. The Pro Stock effort came and went, Hemi should work better for Steve Kent. Lil Joe's been testing to stay in the mix, Drivin, shiftin & hittin with a big "STIX". With the 4 speed in, Mantus & Parker will be back, If they need help, they will call Donnie Mac. Warfish is active with the Island Hemi Dart, makin Chuck and Steve look good from the start. With Armstrong Power and son Colton by his side, Mark Howes has the car for a wild ride. Doug Fazzolare has a new car and comin to play, bringin power with him from Ray in PA. He's been around Hemi's for a long while, a win here sure would make "Big Joe" smile. Dr D has been layin pretty low, but all packed up and ready to go. Installed a 4 speed to have some fun, he hopes it last more than just one run. Cake will be drivin a 4 speed now, leg & arm moving real fast, make you say WOW. Berry & Warburton comin with a plan, a homebuilt piece from the popcorn man. The recent setback is OK, Jason will get it right, Candy Cuda the best thing out of West Virginia, since Jesco White. Wendell is comin from across the border, lookin to better last years R/U in short order. The change in power gives Keyes the nod, last years guy couldn't get a push rod. eh? Hell's Hemi said "I told you, I'd be back", With his own power Jr's ready to attack. Palliot Bro's Dart will be there, You'll know by the smell, Cajun cookin in the air. Mr. Collette's been around but new to the class, hopes the Dixie Hemi will kick some azz. Cleve's been keepin em safe in Memhips, Tenn. how his Hemi will run, can't wait to see. Missouri Mule gonna put on some hurt, with power again from Specialty Motorwerks Wofford & Caro with engines inc. pro stock help won't let em sink. Hope there's not a roll back involved this year, sure glad it didn't happen in high gear. A pit spaced is saved and the grass cut low, Where is big Dan they all want to know. Still looking for an entry from the Gold Coast Hemi, Not the same with his shake and shimmy. A brand new entry was just received today, The "Texas Twister" wasn't ready to play. so the Hemi Dart will have to do, another "Camo" motor, that makes it two. |
