1970 Cuda with 383 runs an AVS
1971 Cuda with 383 runs a Holly, you would have to claim a '71
They should not be rated the same ....

Re: Horsepowers

Chuck, do they look the same? If so, that would be a no brainer, right? Looks like Mike Cotten has the right one. That thing is fast.

Re: Horsepowers

The 1970 had the AVS for 330hp and the Holley for 335hp

Chuck Beach 01-05-2016 10:27 AM

Re: Horsepowers

Yes, I stand corrected, in 1970 you could use the AVS (330 Hp) or the Holly (335 Hp) both rated at 300 Hp.

Mark, if you would quit flagging it, the GT front wheel drive would be a bunch lower!

SS/JA was brutal this year at Indy, probably some of the best racing during class. Chris's car is a bad MOFO!

I just reviewed SS/JA eliminations at Indy and those boys make some serious steam.

Probably the most popular class as well. If you like heads ups, that's the class for you not likely to be the only one at a race, nor will you likely be running the combo race at National events.

I would think that would run in factory experimental, fss or some other class they come out with. Do you think I could run gt class with that Tom? Never mind it has AFB's on it, it won't make any power lol

That looks like the engine in Billy Nees new U/SA Valiant.

Re: Horsepowers

Bob, I think Billy's car has 3 Strombergs on each side.
