So how does "balls to the wall stock" work? Index is dial like class combo or is qualifying time dial whoever gets there first or is it a CIC type race?

The rains started as a light sprinkle after Stock C1 finished and SS had finished its Q1 run. The pace slowly increased until it settled into a light drizzle. Cars went in the trailers and the SC cars that had been in the lanes were sent back to their trailers. I left the track close to 2:00 and the rain was beginning to accumulate on the pavement. I just checked the weather in Mohnton and it looks like the rain has stopped. I have no idea if round 2 of Stock class will happen as there's probably an hour of track drying necessary.
Maybe somebody that's still at the track can provide an update. |

They just made an announcement that it'll be somewhere around 5pm ish that we'll resume racing - I rather doubt that even if that happens we'll not finish class elims and some of the shootout stuff as other classes will be first and I don't see them running much past seven .
Anyway here are some various photos from the past few days.............And yes, that is me yesterday as I was invited into the announcing deck for a round of SuperStock qualifying - had a blast and will surely do that again . |

The rain stopped and they ran a round of index classes, then they ran top dragster and top sportsmen(they had not run yet) and then they pulled the plug.

Starting out with index cars at 8:45 in the morning. We did not get to finish class today. Fastest winning car won. The Factory stock and Balls to the Walls cars got cheated out of running! They just gave the money to the higher qualified car! If they were not going to run it, they should of at least split the money! Just my opinion!

Looks like a damp start this morning - and clearing early. Should be a nice day. Winds of up to 18 mph in the forecast could make the racing interesting today.

Good morning - This years edition of the "Pennsylvania Dutch Classic" hasn't lived up to expectations yet but there is still today to fix that .Yeah,yeah - I know Bartons 8.07 was fast and Quack going into the eights with a 50 year old heavy car was big but for the most part Mother Nature has spoiled performances this time with her low barometer and high humidity not to mention those pesky rain drops .
Today rain is expected early along with winds near 20 MPH .At this second the jet dryer is out on the track tidying things up for the Top Sportsman and Index cars that are to hit the track first if possible with the Class cars sometime after that . |
