I agree, but jail time lets the world, your family, your friends, your neighbors, your community and fellow racers know the truth about who you really are.

If he's anything like my brother-in-law (wrote about him a page or two back), he'll justify it to himself, won't think that people will think ill of him, and continue on with life personally unchanged.

Sorry for the delay. Been busy with personal stuff and making a few phone calls. No, I still don't have the block and lifters yet. Bill keeps telling me I'll get them, but we all know Bill. The wheels of justice are in motion. Jim is enjoying the week end in Gainesville, hope he does well down there. Thanks everyone for phone calls and PM's. Good luck everyone in racing.

Jeez, put a fork in it. The guy's been outed. If he's going to make good it's going to happen between him and the aggrieved parties not the internet lawyers on here.

Don’t let anyone discourage you from posting. It might save others from being swindled from this guy! He continues to make promises that mean nothing.

I agree 100% and these internet lawyers are the people that expose these crooks.

I will keep this post near the top. If I can save one person from getting ripped off I will.

Speaking of that, what happened to the "Is Voges a Crook" thread? Man, that disappeared in a hurry.

I noticed he has not put a thing on his fb page in over a year

Never saw that thread. Would be interested in the details of that.

nhramnl 03-16-2018 10:02 AM

Re: racers beware

Not a lot to tell. Thread showed up with a racer asking if other racers had experienced Bill Diehl-type problems with Voges, and in less than 48 hours, the entire thread was gone.

Re: racers beware

I knew of one that was titled "another racers beware" regarding Voges. I spoke to that person and he removed it awaiting settlement with Voges. Never saw "is Voges a crook".

Obviously I have some experience with the engine builder and have heard from others. I would give anyone that's had an issue the opportunity to talk with me and maybe it would be helpful.

nhramnl 03-16-2018 11:12 AM

Re: racers beware

The title of the thread in question WAS "Another Racers Beware". The question being asked/implied was "Is Voges a crook"?

Let's get those driver less cars off the road, if it will save just one life.

also curious as to how this has turned out. As I understand it, some of the parts were delivered. And there are still some to be delivered? ......or perhaps not?

Totally disagree with you Ed. I got burned for $1800 in 2012 and I would have appreciated a little help from the community. Internet lawyers or not, this guy deserves to be strung up and people should know his name. This has nothing to do with driver-less cars, apples to oranges....

I agree also, just look at the thread about all the help Robbie Welch has received while broke down in Gainesville. This is the type of stuff fellow racers do for each other and if this thread can help prevent one more person from being ripped off by a crook then so be it.

This thread will should stop Diehl's BS with most of the racing community, I really don't understand why that would be a problem for anyone.

What BS? The only problem here is i still owe the man a block and lifters...I AM NOT IN THE PARTS SELLING BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!.

Do to various reasons, I liquidated my engine project for PENNIES on the dollar, AND everybody got there stuff except this mans block, for several reasons.

Enough is enough.....he will get his block is soon as I can make IT happen.

and the other thread at YB? that's been turned over to the lawyers and the proper authorities.. we will see what come of it. I won't comment any more on it.

In the meantime I will make it right to the OP (after many broken promises) its just taking longer than expected.

I am sure you are very familiar

The only problem here is i still owe the man a block and lifters you say. I think you have more problems then that. Just look at the BBB and that explains a lot about you.
