I have carried for over 10 years.
Nope! I will use it if necessary, but this incident did not warrant lethal action! And I have carried with permit for over 40 years.

Good to hear. I was saying IF someone attacked a member of your family what would you do ?
I used to live in a commie state (Maryland) where we could not carry legally !
In Fla. its a felony to scream or yell at someone over the age of 55 and threaten physical harm. I'm 73 that's why I say screw'em. Pomona is in a Commie state !

It is a strange world we live in now. And I agree, some of these states and organisations have some socialist tendencies. Set rules and stand behind/enforce them equally.

Maybe the NHRA are giving the anger management classes so they can get some more of our money back!

He will probably buy his way out of the anger mgmt. classes or pay someone to attend for him. Something like the College scandal now ongoing.
He will learn nothing from all this and do it again in the not to distant future.
At 70 years old I have seen this more than once and people like Steve never change.
I am surprised he did not do something like this earlier after watching some of his interviews.

Torrence penalty is the best thing to happen to sportsman racing.
Do not like a competitor, shake his hand, smack him in the face. Penalized 5 percent of the winners payout (divisional would be $62.50 or so)and go on to the next round. Oh and attend anger management classes. I am guessing there are going to be a lot of racers in these classes. Livefeed going to need a top end camera for all the races

Torrance should have been instantly disqualified for bringing the sport into disrepute

maybe a 3 or 4 race ban next season, he could use his time off to learn how to fight instead of trying to sucker punch someone and run away like a little girl

NHRA are enjoying all the FREE publicity from this fiasco

Hope someone steps up to the plate next season and helps Cameron out with some sponsorship he deserves if, I listened to his interview afterwards and he took it like a real man, Well Done all he wants to do is race.

Looks like NHRA did the right thing. Fined him $25 G's and he must take anger management classes. I guess boxing lessons are optional.

Maybe Terry Haddock should put Doug Herbert in the seat and have him go deep on the little weasel. That would be a TV and popcorn moment.
