Just curious. Does the letter's "LO" and "BO" have any particular significance to these vehicles? Besides being a rare production..
Thanks......

Pardon me for getting off topic but that C Body just above the hood scoop in the background looks funky! It definitely has a 67 roof line but look at the trim/style lines above the wheels, especially the rear wheel. and the rear bumper area looks more early 70s. Possibly a one off prototype?

Looks like a production Dodge Monaco to me. I am old enough to have owned one. Lol That thing was a mile long space ship!

Found this on google. About the same view angle as the picture in question.

They came with them, the pic of the dart is Jack Thomas's car the day he picked it up in Detroit and it has them. Pics taken that day have been used in magazines over the years, and there are pics of his car being loaded up with several LO and BO cars in the background.

I always thought that those photos were of Charlie Castaldo's Dart.

Not sure. Way back in Mopar Action pics that were identified as Castaldo picking up his dart were published like one of a dart being loaded up on a trailor behind a station wagon.
As well pics similar of a dart being picked up at Hurst identified as Jack's car getting picked up have been published too.

Which is which, I dunno any more. you pick. Regardless the scoop supports were there as that scoop does its best to rip itself and the whole hood off at the top end. Guess it's workin.
