Well I know one reason why there are not too many spectators watching stock when they run early in the morning here in Las Vegas. This morning they would not let spectators into the track until 9:30. There was a family who had driven here to watch stock and super stock only and by the time they let them in, stock had made both of their runs for today and so had super stock. Evidently Division 7 or this race track in particular just doesn't care! They also changed the order that we were running from the time it was announced and changed it to where stock almost ran back to back with only super stock in between. If you run both stock and super stock, it was really a busy hour and a half, and then nothing til last thing tonight.

Well I am about ready for a nap, so I can stay up long enough to race tonight.

Like I said and copied from Rod, this is our division 7 director at work and, at his best.

NHRA=Not Helping Racers Anymore.

We arrived in Houma last night about 7. Glad to be home. And we made the 1750 miles before Stock made down the track.

Well after 3 changes in the ladder we still have Jody Lang first round. On the final change, Jeff Interlacchia was DQ'd after attempting to set a record today. I haven't heard why he was DQ'd. Keith Lynch set the A/SA record. His first pass was 10.23 and second was 10.02 without the altitude adjustment. I guess it will be the 10.23 since the 10.02 wasn't within 1%. They have cancelled comps 1st round for tonight, but we are still to race after top dragster and top sportsman. The track is very cold and the alcohol cars and nitro harleys were having a difficult time getting down. Right now they are prepping the track, so we'll see how many they crash before they quit for the evening.

OPPPPS....

No record for Spike......needs to be within 1% (.1 of a second) either way...

Too quick to back it up is as bad as too slow....

Take the day off from pulling it apart and enjoy Vegas....

Have fun,
Bob
