Just a heads-up for our NHRA Div. 1 customers: The Atco National Open has been moved back a week, to April 25-27. The schedule change will make it easier for Div. 1 racers to hit both events without being forced to choose one over another. For more information on the P.C. Richard & Sons National Open Series, visit www.nhradiv1.com

I actually started working on that the other day...

Short version: Add .30 to your NHRA index. (which will make it the same as the IHRA index in almost every class)

If you have a Cobra Jet, COPO, or DragPak, you will have an "FX" designation prefix. No change to weight breaks or HP factors -- just separated from the 'traditional' Stockers.

If you are running an IHRA combination that has an equivalent NHRA class, you will run the NHRA class and HP factor: Fuel-Injected cars, Trucks, FWD cars, etc will all run the NHRA classes. Classes V & W will permit both 4 & 6 cylinders like IHRA, but will use NHRA HP factors.

If you are running an IHRA-only class (i.e., Pure Stock, Stock GT, SS/Production), everything's the same as what you normally run. The only change is the Crate Motor indexes will be adjusted down .10 to them more in line with the traditional Stock index of the same weight break.

G/CM 11.70
H/CM 11.85
I/CM 12.00
J/CM 12.15
K/CM 12.30
L/CM 12.45

VP Racing Fuels will have their fuel truck on-site for the event so competitors can get their NHRA-accepted fuels for Stock and Super Stock just like at LODRS events. VP will also be awarding VP Fuel Jugs to the winners of the Quick Fuel Quick 32's and Sunday's main event Ultimate Converter Concepts Stock Eliminator and ATI Performance Products Super Stock Eliminator. Find them online at www.vpracingfuels.com. The VP Midwest office in Terre Haute, IN can be reached at (812) 466-1175.

I was referring to Tina Summerton's Pure Stocker featured on the Table of Contents page.

In other news, we have revamped the Loose Rocker website. The cleaner design makes it easier to navigate and to maintain. You can find the complete event flyer and links to all of our great sponsors, all in one place. The new layout will make it easier to archive event results over the years. You can also find information on our other events and a link to our online magazine, which we've decided to do twice a year, with one issue covering the St. Patrick's Classic and the Auto Meter Northern Class Nationals, and a second year-end issue covering the Colonial Classic, American Doorslammer Nationals, and Fall Footbrake Frenzy. Check it out at www.looserocker.com
