Witch was a bit unusual, since car is running in class A, indicating picture may be taken in 1970 or later, when exhaust pipes no longer was mandatory by NHRA.
Pic below probably from 1969, when Tanner still raced for Atlanta Dodge dealer Billy Aiken of Lennox Dodge. Aiken signed Tanner in December of ยด68 and the following year Tanner became NHRA Southeastern Champion. All according to Car Magazine Article of May 1970. |
