Re: Original hemi dart information
I just consigned it to BJ in Palm Beach for April. I need the location of the blue box system. I have the wiring diagram and see a few blank holes in firewall/inner fenders etc. I have the original kit just need help installing correctly if anyone can help. Who knows, this stuff may have been first to throw in trash back then. VALDEZ

Hey Spyphish Thanks for the pics!!!. That plate looks very original and uncut. Some radio plates have a plate covering a hole where the radio would of been. It's a blank black plate, no grain and 3 attachment screws. Then there's the plates you see on EBay etc, that Dave posted. That one has 4 screw holes and a complete chrome surround. I have a bunch of old NHOA Newsletters that had a series of these old ignitions. I will try to dig them out this weekend. liteweight |

These are the plates on MR ED. I was surprised to see the radio plates with screws on each end on the bottom, and am thinking mine is a repo. I would like to buy an older original one if anyone here has one to sell, unless Daryl needs one.

It is stored on a lift covered and I had to use a ladder to get those pics this morning. Will be a month or so before I get it down and get you some good data. Frying some other fish right now and I probably should not be on a ladder. Who ya' gonna call?????

Here is the plate assembly, not a correct repro radio delete plate when you have to make a new screw hole in the center.....

If anyone has a VIN in the Feb. 18th 1968 batch in the 297900s could you PM me or call/text 337-499-44 three five. Looks like they were running out of parts trying to make 70ish cars. First batch was 56 I think and mine (#50 based on VIN) has a 67 steering wheel according to Comella. Just curious. Phish
