Other then the weight of the casting, there is no advantage to run the aluminum E Pontiac head over a cast head. The E head is actually smaller then the cast head.

Don't forget about Jaques Blais out of CT.... he has a great car (Mid-90's mustang)... w/ a 460 Ford Combo.... doesn't get out much.... in good conditions/good track... the full feed bag tune-up, etc... I think he'd be right there with these other guys. I believe he also is the record holder in D or E...

Someone here is swimming in shark-infested waters and hopefully, his post count is not going reach 60 before he's dragged under by a Great White.... just off Long Island, NY.... never to be heard from again. WJ
