Lots of wierd stuff such as changing the lifter bore angles big time and much more. Maybe Travis can correct me if Im wrong. Ive been wrong before like when I got married long ago. LOL

There's nothing unique about SS/AH except the body style and being limited to one class. A SS/AH engine could be put in a 64-65 B body Hemi car and be legal to race SS. However the same cannot be said about a 64-65 Hemi in a SS/AH car. Aluminum hemi heads are not allowed in '68.

PS The weird stuff is now legal.

Very impressive to say the least, I was around for the Dart and Cuda debut and I thought those cars running in the 10s was sick, this is outrageous, 8.22 at a buck-sixty and change, geez-louise.

That is a bad boy. almost 163 mph. Gary Jennings chassis, just barely got the front wheels up and flew, just like a pro stocker..

I have heard that in Valdosta there were no Qualifying sheets so racers wouldn't have to worry about getting horsepower. Did anyone else hear about this? Also, if this is true, then why doesn't NHRA just decide to not count any National Open races in the future towards getting horsepower?
