That's hilarious! High 12 second street car on 26x10 tires. Had it for 30 years, and it's my first car. My great grandfather bought it new, so very special to me.

Thanks for all the congrats wishes and compliments on the car.

Is this the same car you did very well with in Boise just over a decade ago? Pretty clean car!

That really is a sweet ride! Even cooler that someone's out flogging it (and winning!)

It is! Glad you remembered that. It was a little different then in Boise. Was running it it SP with a delay box, dual line locks and a CO2 starting line controller. Was the slowest car in the class. But it was before Crosstalk and Boise didn't even have the top bulbs open so the fast cars could crossover. There were so many bad "splits" with the handicap starts that the slower car had a good thing going. Mark Kidd knew this, so he slowed his dragster down to 12.00 or so and was wearing them out till I left 1.2 seconds ahead of him. He said it looked like the 4th of July with my tires going through prestage and stage beams as he's trying to let go on his top bulb! LOL

Well....since this is "class"racer, I'm going to take the high road and choose not to confirm that. OR DENY IT!!!!! ;-)

Mark, you showed great composure!

I might have not reacted so well......

Sorry you had to deal with that. They were scared-rightfully so-to race you.

As I have said, you played by the rules.
