That is waaaaaaaay funny stuff there Toby!! Plourd may bat for both teams and actually want that group as roomates. Mark Faul is a manly man kind of a guy, he would not be caught dead hangin' with the Village People. Doubt he even owns a Boy George CD. Bet he still has Zepplin on 8 track.

Good morning - First things first - welcome to the Auto Plus Nationals here at Maple Grove Raceway ( well, almost as we're still in the Vanity Fair holding lot ) This is to be day 1 - parking - tech - credentials and just hanging out with friends BSing .All that might be on hold as this morning we were greeted about twenty minutes ago with a shower - not sure of the pit conditions at this time but we have our fingers crossed .

I'm in the first fifteen to be caravanned to the track this morning at nine so I'll fill you folks in with the straight skinny on whats' going on .............

Weather - besides a slight drizzle at this moment its seventy degrees and humid with a stinko barometer .

And NO - I didn't bring this rain shower with me ! ! !

One last thing - Toby , your agent called - give up racing he says .......bigger and better things in store for you @ the Walt Disney studio .

Jack where are you? Rumor has it no parking at the track until tomorrow, Thursday, Friday one TT and into eliminations. I have an unpaid informant at the mall. Jack please confirm and find out if we can withdraw due to weather. Where is Toby when we need him. lol

OK - here's the latest -- we will not be going to the track today - tomorrow morning at the earliest we're told .Comp is being told they can go over but I haven't been able to confirm that fact .........more as I learn it ............

BTW - Check out the huge sign they made directing us to the parking lot .......

Jack, as always your updates are very appreciated, but I guess that raises the next question. Can you find out if racers arriving tomorrow are now required to go to the VF lot? Sounds like the most logical thing but let's remember who we're dealing with and I'm sure this weather has logic stretched to the max!. Thanks again,

A quick update on Comp parking. Anyone with a comp car can go directly to the track and you will be parked.

As you can see Phil Szupka was able to get out and head to the track.

Thank goodness for the crack reporting staff of Class Racer. I was about to pull out for the trip down when I caught the update. I must have missed (and still am) the update from NHRA directly, LMAO...
