Super Street is out first in the morning at 8 with stock following for a time run, then round 1 after all the sportsmen get a run. It is not supposed to rain again until the afternoon, so hopefully we will at least get the first round in.

Until tomorrow!

I was DQ 'd for being 5lbs light. I rolled thru the beams and halfway down the track I decided it wasn't goin to be a good run so I shoved the clutch in....dad and I got back to the trailer and noticed something funny with the car and decided it was not in our best interest not to run it anymore...headed back home in the AM.

Woke up to a beautiful, sunny day here in Atlanta. Weather's not calling for rain til later in the afternoon. Super Street has already been called up and Stock is next. All sportsmen get a run this morning, then eliminations later in the day. I haven't seen the schedule yet, so I don't know if it will be after Pros or if a couple of categories may run before Pros begin at 11:30.

More later.

Just made our last qualifying run. Lots of people moved around. Jordan did not get a good run, rolled thru the beams. Britt Cummings Corvette did not get a good run either. Bo Kenney picked his up. The sheets should be out soon. We should be running before the Pros start for the day.

Well we made it thru first round this morning by .004. There were lots of really close races 1st round. 2 notable losses were Stephenson and Adkinson with better lights, but gave up the stripe. We have Drew Skillman next round and we got a text from Chris this afternoon "Remember Old age and treachery will defeat youth and skill". Just hope that stays true!

The weather is holding up this afternoon. Still sunny and hot. Oh, from the time I did the weather before we ran 1st round, the temperature went up from 81 to 87.

Well hopefully we will still be happy when we post again this evening.

That wine is made from Scupadines, they are the white version of Muscadines. It sounded like scooby-doo cause I'm from Alabama!! We pronounce them scuupy-nines!! LOL Glad you enjoyed it.

Robert, thanks again for the wine. We really did enjoy it!

Well I guess you saw on DRC that we lost with a .003 light. The wind died down and we went faster than we thought we would. But that's racing! Good luck to Drew Skillman tomorrow. He is still in in Stock and Super Stock both.

We are trying to get things put up so we can leave out first thing in the morning. It was really great seeing friends like Jim and Pam Marshall here this weekend. Now that they have moved south, I guess we are just going to have to start going to more races down this way. Now that Rosie isn't in Division 2 anymore, it makes going south a lot more pleasant.
