Lonnie it is all basic math as for what you trying to figure out. Using your 12.80 x 102mph =1305ft Just look at all the national record holding ets they are geared for 1270 to 1310.Its math has not changed since the Egyptians.

Mark, Thank you for that answer, I appreciate it. Mr Parker, Money is the issue in this rich mans game I'm trying to play. And it is the main reason I am staying in "N". If I wanted to spend a train load of money, I would build the 4 barrel engine for my car & run "F". Buy the $2000.00 stainless headers, the GOOD convertor the aluminum "alternate" intake, roll bar etc. ...... But I can't afford to build or race a car like that. I'm just a bracketracer that up until my current Cougar, had only gone 15 flat with any of my own cars. Stock Eliminator are cars that I have admired since Jim Waldo showed up at my home track with his Fairlane & ran under the record @ the time, (early-mid 80's)."N" is my only way in. My car trailer is a single axle open unit that dad & I welded together in 82 & my truck is a 75 F-250 that I got off of Craigs list for $300.00. And its ALL paid for. :D

Dave...I think I'd be looking for an EXTRA axle to support that race car...Just my .02.

(not trying to steal the thread guys)

Ok so here's what I did today.

Leak down all cylinders 8 to 10 % Ok.

jacked the rear of the vehicle up warmed up the rear end and could barely move the tire.

Replaced brake shoes and springs, had the drums turned,

Warmed rear end up again, like night and day. can turn the wheel with one hand. Going to test again 1/25 at Famosa.

Thank You again everyone. I will keep you posted.
