Michael FYI I run Crower severe duty .842 ;) in my 283 turning it 9000. I use Manley nextex 350 seat. I broke a comp cams lifter in my 327 and it aint pretty what happens.
Most guys never have measured a lifter or lifter bore in there life but are engines builders on know all about lifter sizing.

If you measured a crower lifter they don't make an .842 lifter there lifters are .841
