Yeah but the me factory engines have super strict fuel economy and emissions restrictions that the older cars didnt have. Just from tuning, a new car can pick up a lot more HP than an old car. True, there is less to be gained in the cylinder heads because the new ones are so good, but that's not exactly a disadvantage in stock eliminator!

However, I personally think it's possible for an LT1 to win SS/HA, SS/IA, and SS/JA!

I agree about H, have to see Stewart lose I to believe it, I don't know how fast those DPs in J are. Even if they are slow (can't imagine how you could make one slow) an LT1 would have to get by Ronnie Terrell. That little car is extremely dangerous for a legit car.

Prolly 9.70's, based on what some other 5.9's have gone and factoring in the weight difference.

No, Ed, I can't run 9.70s.

Maybe in some of that Div 1's -500' air. :-)

We don't know anything about that stuff, do we? LOL

Mr Jeff Acres are getting to hard to come by around us. But we do have sweet corn, tomatoes and moon shine.
We all know the DP stuff is fast but will they run -1.25 just to win class?

Probably you, Vaughn, and Wenzel if he goes, he couldn't get in last year. I know I'm out getting too tough, not enough oats!

Ed we get -500 ft of air all the time in Div. 1. Our only problem is the unicorns won't get off the track when the air is that good!! Yeh thats right we have unicorns in Div 1 also. Charlie why wouldn't the DP's run 1.25 under? Even if they get an instant 15 hp they will still be about 50 hp under rated.
