TP

have them pull a piston and then we will know, the bottom end is suspect.

You better be ready to put your money where your mouth is.

I'm Tracy and I have Dyno'd Wikle's engines and been involved to some extent to tuning them, including the one in my Chevelle. You seem to imply that Wikle builds bogus engines and I take exception to that. I can assure you that DeFrank and myself requested and received legal weight components. I have seen them and handled them and installed them, and you have not. You can pay to see them at any race you like and I will gladly make a side bet with you. Let me know when you are ready.

At Indy the motor in the car was rejected by NHRA (ask Keith Lynch) this situation is why I am asking NHRA to re evaluate the 402 / 375 in a 1970 camaro. Perhaps it was not legal at that time and now the combo should be re evaluated and returned to the proper hp hp rating

Was that last year?.....no wait, eight years ago... or more? Wikle isn't responsible for Keith's decisions either. If he machines a block for someone and they build the engine it is their baby. Darrel knows how to build a good engine that will pass all aspects of tech inspection. It takes a bit more time and money and maybe not everybody has sour grapes because someone went to the extra effort to go a little faster.

You are right the motor NHRA looked at was Keith's fault. So bring the hp factor back to where is was before he killed the combo

I also have a 70 Camaro and I would be right with you on that request but fat chance would be my guess based on the other '70 402's out there. Look at Ken Keir, and that isn't a Wikle engine either.
