Re: Heartland Park Topeka---latest?!?
They confirmed the divisional race before the water was turned off.

Re: Heartland Park Topeka---latest?!?
How many people are going to travel to an out of division track that is over an 8hr drive? Really??
Most likely Earlville will pick up one of the 2 races. That is what has happened when Topeka has failed to complete a race in previous years. Tom I hope Bob's comments are correct. I do not see D5 paying the water bill to host a 4 day race. If the water bill is not being paid I am sure the electric bill is not being paid as well. The next utility to be turned off will be power. Pretty sad to see. Sean |

Re: Heartland Park Topeka---latest?!?
Build a new track 60 miles away from a failing track?
Sounds like someone is smoking those corn tassels in Kansas! |
Re: Heartland Park Topeka---latest?!?
The rumor about Kansas Speedway having a dragstrip has been just that since KCIR closed. I live within a few miles from the speedway, and there is no room for a dragstrip. A hotel is to be built on some of the land, and parking for the roundy round spectators is the remaining land.
