Re: Fake battery, dq or not
PER NHRA BOTH BATTERIES MUST BE THE SAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! --- that means the same dimensions and weight---if you run a battery in the front that is either larger/heavier than the battery in the rear OR to put it another way the battery in the rear is larger/heavier than the battery in the front -- THEY ARE NOT THE SAME--- YOU ARE ILLEGAL--YOU ARE CHEATING----- now NHRA has come out and said that if you do this ( run 2 different sized batteries)/you will be asked to leave you are thrown out /disqualified/get no points/race counts toward your total ETC. ETC. and a lot of other things---- what don't you people understand??? Its not open for discussion--- so go out in the garage and look at both batteries if you run 2 and decide for yourself if the battery in the front matches up to the battery in the rear--- if it does go back to bed--- if it does not you have 2 choices --- either get 2 batteries that are the same so you WILL BE LEGAL or keep using your current battery set up andcontinue to be ILLEGAL

If you have an engine in the trunk, does it have to be the same as the engine under the hood?
