Re: Racers And Or Crew Being Rude To Other Racers

One of the upsides of usually being one of the last ones to get to the races is that you normally have plenty of room as the officials tend to not be as stingy with pit space once they see they're going to get everyone in! |

Re: Racers And Or Crew Being Rude To Other Racers
Several years ago when actually pitted inside the Gatornationals I too had a similar experience with a pile of poop. Right next to my race car was such a foul smelling odor I was really ticked off that someone would allow their pet to do their duty and then not pick up afterwards. Much to my surprise I found the pile next to the rear area of the car, but it was not from an animal, it was human. Now that was down right disgusting and rude.
Some a$$hole needs a leash and a bag, they are giving dogs a bad rap. After reading some complaints I would like to offer my apologies if I or my crew have kept anyone awake after hours. We usually are rather docile. Ron Ortiz U/SA I hope karma exist. |

Re: Racers And Or Crew Being Rude To Other Racers
Why complain about a noisy generator? This is the racetrack! Where people from all different budgets gather to make a whole lot of noise. Not a country club or retirement community. If you want peace and quiet, go to the Four Seasons.

Re: Racers And Or Crew Being Rude To Other Racers
Yesterday I forgot to put up the short stack for the genset. We are stacked in Pomona and are closer than if we are pitted. The genset self starts around sixish this morning, it runs a few minutes then I remember, no stack up. I get up and shut it off.

Re: Racers And Or Crew Being Rude To Other Racers
If you are down south, and it is warm enough to need AC all night, I have no issue with you running your RV generator all night.
I an in southern Ontario, Canada. The generator was some 20 year old worn out POS, and was only running because the owners were too drunk to notice it and too lazy to shut it off. At our tracks, we have a rule which states, no generators (or race cars) running after a specific time of night and before a specific time in the morning. But, like everywhere else, there are people at the track who could care less about anyone else except themselves. |
Re: Racers And Or Crew Being Rude To Other Racers
No Ed, when you two came down we were pitted outside the track in the back forty. The year of the infraction I was pitted at the end of one of the finger roads inside the track. That is what amazed me is that someone would do that with all the Port a Johns around.
Besides, Billy's presents ain't *****. We could start another thread about rude people who leave their race cars sticking out on the roads. Or how about the people in their pick up trucks or SUV's that stop and talk to someone in the roads while you are trying to get to the staging lanes. Now, back to dog poop. Does the quality of poop depend on the intake, such as canned food, dried food, wet food, human food? With this information you might be able to track down the culprit by identifying what it's owner gives them, then find the owner. Ron Ortiz U/SA this thread is crap |
