The Achieva is a 92 and the Calais is a 91. I just switch the SOHC head for the Quad 4 head in the Achieva and I can run a diff. class. The Calais runs SS/GS.

I never heard of it being raced again.

There is a Daytona stocker sitting in a field in Texas. It was a former record holder and won class many times. Shame it is rotting away.

I can only speak for my car, but my Turbo 125 had an 8" A-1 Torque convertor built for it back in '96, and it's still working great, and as for the tranny, the last time it was touched was y2k, so were talking over 16yrs. Now granted I haven't done as much racing during many of those years, as I'd like, but last year I partook in my first full countable NHRA season of 3 nats, and 5 divs., so I feel very good about the GM 125's.

Could this be Jeff Lee's former record holder? First FWD car in the 13's.
Is it white, by any chance?

A question for the informed!!!!! My late father in law left us a Cadillac El Dorado, fwd, with all the features.think it was 32 v. I think it was a 98...it was the cool looking one. Anyway, the thing was fast but I was afraid I would break something before getting it sold.
My question is: do these cars FIT in NHRA? One is for sale down the road.

Oops, I now see that it is not in the book...oh well

Wasn't there a guy named Mike Senna who raced a fwd Cadillac in Stock Eliminator at one time?

No it was a blue Daytona raced by Floyd Colley. I think he had the record for a short time. Car last ran in Dallas several years ago before he passed away.
